Imran submits reply in contempt of court case

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chairman, Imran Khan Tuesday submitted his detailed reply in the contempt of court case to the Supreme Court on Tuesday.
In his reply, Khan sought the dismissal of the contempt notice and said that he had not committed contempt nor had he spread hatred against judges.
Earlier on August 2, Khan had appeared before the apex court and submitted a brief written reply. The Supreme Court rejected Khan’s reply and ordered him to submit a detailed response by August 28.
Imran Khan had been issued a contempt notice by Pakistan’s top court over his remarks against the judiciary and judges. In the notice, the Supreme Court said that Khan had apparently tried to incite hatred against the judges in an interaction with the media.
