Google’s DeepMind AI turns out to be a world pro at chess

Google's artificial intelligence robot "Alpha Zero” was not planned to be a pro at chess but surprisingly, it learned the game of chess in just four hours to defeat world’s top computerized chess player.
After eight hours of self-play, the program was first to manage defeating the best players at the human world Go championship; and after four hours of training, it overtook the current world champion chess-playing program, Stockfish 8.
AlphaGo was able to defeat Stockfish bot player in 28 chess matches where the remaining games ended up in a tie during a total of 100 counters. Stockfish, released in 2008, was on first position among the chess bots in 2016.
The Google bot's performance was described as ‘superhuman’ in a scientific paper published by Cornell University.Google’s DeepMind AI turns out to be a world pro at chess
