Farooq Sattar accuses PPP of political vendetta against MQM

KARACHI: Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) leader Dr Farooq Sattar has said the Sindh government was not ready to digest his party’s role as the opposition.
Talking to media at Karachi’s Jinnah International Airport upon his arrival from Islamabad on late Thursday night, he said the government was politically victimizing its opponents and wanted to force MQM to become part of the provincial government.
Sattar warned against repeating politics of 90s and said that lists were being prepared to arrest the opponents as part of political vendetta.
The MQM leader said that intolerance for constructive opposition was indication of dictatorial thought.
While referring to reports on presence of an obscure militant group, he said a buzz about the Muhajir Liberation Army was being created.
